This is my new ‘journal’ (aka. blog, I still hate that word).
The other one is still online, and I won’t take it down for the sake of history. You can visit it at the same old link: http://www.spearin.ca/andrew/blog/
I’m starting this new journal to go along with my new portfolio website.
As the end of school approaches, I feel the need to clarify who I am as a photographer. When I started exploring photojournalism, it seemed that the natural route to take is that of a newspaper photographer. That is how I initially learned.
As I continue to learn, I find that I am most drawn to and inspired by photographs that are more often found outside the pages of a newspaper.
This journal will hopefully become the record of my exploration in life and photography.
